Choosing a college is an important and personal decision and there will undoubtedly be a great number of crucial factors to take into consideration. For example, you may have to think about the financial factors of furthering your studies. Another fundamental factor is the selection of the correct educational institution where you would feel comfortable to pursue your studies. If you were to choose to study abroad, where should you go? And finally, will the subject you aim to study be of any value when you return home?

The Centre of International Education

The Centre of International Education (CIE) was established in 2003 to provide a focus for international student services and international promotion at the College.

The Centre's mission is to provide high quality study programmes and services to international students, a range of support and welfare services and to increase the College's international work.

Application Steps

Please read our applications guide before submitting your application form. Please note we do not offer an on-line application form for academic and vocational courses. Please take the time to print and complete the form and fax or mail it to us.

Step 1: Making an application

You will need to complete a International Student Application Form and return it to the International Centre. Application forms can be faxed or posted. Please ensure that you include two passport photos of yourself with the application along with photocopies of the other required documents.

Please send us as much information as possible as incomplete applications will delay your application process.

Step 2: Waiting for our decision?

We will inform you of the College's decision as soon as possible after receiving your application. Successful applications usually depend on the availability of places of your intended course and, in some courses, dependant on whether your current qualifications comply with the entry requirements for that course.

Step 3: Paying and applying for a visa

When your provisional offer is accepted, we will ask you to pay the necessary administration fees to secure your place on the programme. We will then send you the Visa Application Document and Overseas Arrival Pack so that you can apply for a student visa (if necessary).
